We can’t praise the standard of accommodation highly enough. A minimalist, boutique look of warm, dark woods and natural coloured fabrics has been combined with modern amenities such as a flat screen TV, movies on demand, BOSE sound system with iPod docking station, Nespresso machine and complimentary WiFi to luxurious effect. In addition, all 158 rooms and suites feature a mini bar, which includes a complimentary selection of soft drinks, juices, water and beer restocked daily. Serai Rooms are located in the three storey Serai Wing and feature a queen size bed, built in divan and walk-in dressing room, while Deluxe Rooms are slightly larger and offer a king size bed and comfortable seating area. It’s well worth considering a Deluxe Club Room or Chedi Club Suite for access to The Club Lounge and complimentary return airport transfers, as well as a complimentary full mini bar and in-room spirits including gin, vodka and whisky. Chedi Club Suites further benefit from a separate living area,
furnished terrace or balcony and spacious bathroom with sunken marble terrazzo bath and oversized rain shower.
Dining is first class with 6 restaurants and 2 lounges. The Restaurant serves Arabic, Asian, Indian and contemporary cuisine from 4 live cooking stations in a refined and elegant setting, while during the cooler months, The Beach Restaurant specialises in seafood (dinner only) and The Arabian Courtyard offers authentic Arabian cuisine on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (dinner only).
The extensive 1,500 sq metre wellness centre is a definite highlight, with signature Asian inspired spa therapies, including aromatherapy and Ayurveda, practised to sublime perfection in 13 spa suites. Separate men’s and ladies’ sauna and steam rooms and a beautiful relaxation room overlooking the ocean complete this sanctuary of relaxation. A choice of 3 outdoor temperature controlled swimming pools, of which 2 are adult only, include the double olympic sized Long Pool, which is surrounded by oversized double day beds, ideal for total relaxation. There is also The Health Club with personal trainers and all the latest Technogym equipment, 2 floodlit tennis courts, and watersports and two 18-hole golf courses are available nearby.
Exceptional dishes are prepared and cooked in front of you at The Restaurant, adding to the refined atmosphere. Make sure you don’t miss the dessert counter, they’re delicious!
The Chedi Club Suites, dotted around the gardens, are wonderful and we know you’ll enjoy their outdoor living space as well as cocktail hour in The Club Lounge
The service is impeccable, with iced water waiting for you at your lounger on return from a refreshing dip in one of the stunning pools
