While the hotel has been fully refreshed, its charm, character and original footprint remain unchanged. The 111 rooms and suites cater beautifully to both couples and families, each featuring cheerful tropical décor and a private balcony or patio overlooking the Caribbean Sea, swimming pools or lush tropical gardens. For families, ask us about guaranteed interconnecting suites or we highly recommend upgrading to a spacious One Bedroom Ocean Front Suite, located right on the beachfront. The 246 Restaurant & Bar serves lunch and dinner from a fabulous beachfront location and is host to weekly theme night dining with live entertainment. The Sugar Cane Restaurant serves breakfast in a breezy, semi-open-air setting, whilst Sugar Shack Restaurant offers a relaxed setting for a casual lunchtime meal.

Accommodation

There are 111 contemporary rooms and suites, all equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a flat-screen television, mini fridge, laptop safe, hair dryer and comfortable king or twin beds. Spacious Junior and One-Bedroom Suites offer extra room to unwind, with sitting areas or separate living spaces and sofa beds. For families, interconnecting Junior Suites are available, while Two Connecting Ocean View rooms can accommodate up to eight guests.

Dining at Tamarind includes a range of relaxed options, from daily breakfast at breezy Sugar Cane Restaurant to casual lunches at Sugar Shack and oceanfront dining at 246 Restaurant & Bar, serving local and international dishes with sweeping Caribbean views. Caribbean Restaurant offers cocktails and a laid-back lounge setting just steps from the sand, while Harvest & Hive Coffee Shop serves freshly brewed coffee and light refreshments throughout the day. Guests can also enjoy the Barbados Collection Dine Around Program, with access to participating sister resorts along Barbados’ Platinum West Coast.

Facilities

Guests can enjoy a wide range of complimentary activities and facilities, including three freshwater swimming pools, one of which is an adults-only relaxation pool. Waterskiing, tubing, stand-up paddleboarding, snorkelling and kayaking are available, with lessons included. Club Camp welcomes children aged four and over with pool games, beach activities, arts and crafts and movie nights, while babysitting services are also available. The resort features a well-equipped fitness centre with complimentary yoga, Pilates and aqua aerobics, plus an on-site spa and salon offering a range of treatments for an additional charge. Complimentary water taxi services and the Dine Around Program provide access to participating sister resorts along Barbados’ Platinum West Coast.
