Opening in Spring 2018, Silversands is set to shake up the hotel scene in Grenada, with a sleek and contemporary design that offers quite a contrast to the other resorts on the island. 43 open plan suites and 9 villas are designed in a chic and contemporary style, with an emphasis on clean lines and natural light. Located in the resort’s main buildings, the suites are generously sized and equipped with a king size bed, sitting area, bathroom with a soaking tub and separate rain shower, mini bar, flat screen TV, complimentary WiFi and a furnished balcony or terrace. Garden Suites are on the ground floor with easy access to the resort facilities; Ocean Suites are on the second floor overlooking the beach and Penthouse Level Suites are on the top floor offering the best views. The larger One Bedroom Suites and the lavish Penthouse Suite feature a separate living room and a more expansive terrace with wonderful views. For families, the spectacular villas offer a luxurious home away from home, with a choice of three or four bedrooms, spacious living/dining areas, fully fitted kitchens, modern facilities and their own private pools.
Dining options include an elegant Thai restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. The stylish Beach Club offers a more casual dining option overlooking the pool and ocean, with an open-air terrace and lounge area complete with resident DJ to create a relaxed but vibrant atmosphere. There is also a cosy Lobby Lounge with an extensive collection of rums and cigars.
The eye-catching infinity pool is the centrepiece of the resort and the longest in the Caribbean; 100 metres long, it stretches from the lobby right down to the soft white sand of Grand Anse beach. The impressive spa features four spacious treatment rooms (including two for couples), a beautiful relaxation room set around a large swimming pool, a sauna, Hammam, fitness centre and a hair and nail salon. Golf and tennis can be arranged nearby and a wide variety of watersports is available on Grand Anse beach.
