On Playa Xcalacoco on the Riviera Maya, 10 minutes from Playa del Carmen.

Accommodation

The resort’s 41 luxurious villas are set within the gardens, creating a real sense of privacy and intimacy. All accommodation is beautifully appointed and features air-conditioning, a king size bed, satellite TV with DVD player and movie library, iHome docking station, complimentary WiFi, mini bar and a generous amount of outdoor living space, including a thatched palapa with dining area, day beds, outdoor shower and a private plunge pool. Luxury Villas, Royal Villas and the larger Signature and Premium Villas all have jungle views whilst the Ocean View Villas are closer to the swimming pool and beach and offer partial ocean views. The highly recommended Beachfront Villas are set right on the sand with full ocean views and direct access to the beach. Each villa comes with dedicated butler service and Soap Concierge.

Restaurants And Bars

Dining at either of the two restaurants is a real treat; the elegant La Marea serves contemporary Mexican cuisine with Mediterranean influences and the Coral Grill & Bar offers more informal beachfront dining with a focus on locally caught seafood and homemade pizzas. The resort also offers additional dining experiences such as tequila and ceviche tasting, a seven-course Chef’s Table and a weekly gourmet beach barbecue.

For a truly authentic Mayan experience, try a Temazcal ritual which aims to purify the mind, body and the spirit through the use of steam and healing herbs.
