Just 70 rooms, all recently renovated in a fresh, minimalist style, are air-conditioned and have a private balcony or terrace with views of the ocean or gardens. Facilities include satellite TV, a mini bar, in-room safe and modern bathroom with separate shower and toilet. In-room tea/coffee making facilities are available at an additional charge for guests on half board and are complimentary for those on all-inclusive. We recommend upgrading to one of the beachfront rooms, as there’s nothing better than waking up to the sound of the gently crashing waves, and we particularly like the Deluxe Beachfront Rooms for their extra space.

La Pointe aux Piments restaurant serves buffet breakfast, à la carte lunch and various themed buffet dinners, in an attractive and relaxed setting overlooking the beach, while L’Océan is right on the sand and provides a delectable à la carte seafood menu. There is also La Sirène, a laid-back bar where you can enjoy cocktails, snacks and memorable west coast sunsets.

Cool off in the swimming pool, catch some rays on the small white sand beach, or take to the water with a kayak or pedal boat. The natural coral reef infront of the hotel makes it perfect for snorkelling, or head out on a diving or catamaran sailing excursion. The spa has 3 treatment rooms and a Hammam, and the therapists are on hand to provide a selection of soothing treatments. Evenings are generally a quiet affair, with a live music sega show once a week, but Grand Baie is conveniently close by if you prefer something more lively. Complimentary WiFi is available in the hotel’s public areas.
