Accommodation

721 spacious, modern rooms are spread out across two four-storey buildings, with views of the pool/gardens or ocean. All have air-conditioning, a king size or two double beds, a private Jacuzzi, daily refreshed mini bar, flatscreen TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a balcony or terrace. For a little more luxury, we recommend upgrading to one of the Preferred Club rooms which have a small sitting area and include concierge service, complimentary wireless internet access, use of an exclusive swimming pool, a dedicated restaurant for breakfast and lunch and access to the Preferred Club lounge where continental breakfast and afternoon hors d’oeuvres are served daily.

Restaurants And Bars

The resort's 9 restaurants include 6 à la carte options, 2 buffets and a beach grill. Cuisine ranges from steak and seafood at the Bluewater Grill to authentic Italian at Capers and traditional Mexican dishes at Tamarindo. There are also 10 bars including a swim up pool bar and a nightclub.

Facilities

Facilities include 5 swimming pools (including a children's pool and one exclusively for Preferred Club guests), 2 Jacuzzis, 2 tennis courts, a 4 lane bowling alley, fitness centre, Now Spa by Pevonia and non-motorised watersports including sailing, snorkelling, windsurfing and kayaks. If you want to learn something new, there are dance classes, tennis clinics and Spanish lessons available, as well as a weekly market featuring local handicrafts, art and jewellery. The Explorer’s Club provides a fully supervised programme for children aged 3-12 yrs, as well as an indoor games room with TV and video games, while the Core Zone for teenagers aged 13-17 yrs features sports, beach activities and a nightly disco.

It’s well worth upgrading to a Preferred Club room, and we recommend one of the upper floor rooms for a little more privacy while relaxing in your outdoor Jacuzzi

Despite its size, Now Larimar never feels too crowded, and the resort’s central plaza, where the main restaurants are located, has a real buzz about it in the evenings
