Accommodation ranges from beachfront suites to villas with private gardens, and location is also a consideration, with some rooms nearer to the resort facilities and others in a more secluded setting. The smallest hotel is the Villa del Parco & SPA, a boutiquestyle property with just 47 rooms, while Le Palme, with 138 rooms, is the best choice for larger families, located close to the beach and restaurants. There are also plenty of interconnecting room options around the resort, so families are especially well catered for.

There are an incredible 21 restaurants, including 3 overseen by Michelin-starred chefs: Gordon Ramsay, Rocco Iannone and Alfons Schuhbeck. Flavours on offer run the whole gamut from Sardinian to Brazilian, and there’s also a dedicated children’s restaurant with cute little tables and chairs, serving a mix of both healthy options and kids’ favourites like pizza and burgers. There are 14 bars, including a stylish Champagne bar, plus an ice cream parlour.

Half Board

There are 9 swimming pools spread around the resort, including child-friendly pools with water flumes plus two pools exclusively for the use of guests at Hotel Castello, Villa del Parco and Le Dune. The amazing Leisureland complex contains a go karting track, ten pin bowling alley, climbing walls, trampolines and a disco, and there are a number of sports academies for kids, including a Chelsea FC football academy. If that’s not enough then head to the watersports centre for windsurfing, waterskiing, jetskis and canoes, with a PADI dive centre also on site. Golfers can perfect their swing at the driving range or pitch and putt, and there is a 27-hole course a short drive away. Other facilities include 12 floodlit tennis courts, a gym and the Acquaforte Spa, a member of the Leading Spas of the World.
