Grand Velas Presents: The Best of the Riviera Maya

This gorgeous hotel offers the choice of eight outstanding restaurants, including five gourmet options. The resort is about to take its offering to the next level by organising and hosting The Best of the Riviera Maya, set to take place October 5-9 2016.

Last year saw the debut of this food festival, this year the theme is focused on Mexican chefs known internationally for their trendsetting culinary art. The prestigious chefs which are being hosted at the resort are, Zahie Tellez, Carlos Gayan, Francisco Ruano and Mikel Alonso, where they will share their talent, creativity and passion for Mexican cuisine at this unique event. These chefs will team up with Ricardo de la Vega, executive chef of the resort’s ‘Frida’ restaurant. This restaurant will be home for four nights to this eclectic group of chefs serving a 10-course tasting menu. This really is an experience not to be missed.

Amazingly, the dinner will be included in the daily rate for all guests, there will not be an additional charge for guests to experience this once in a lifetime event. The all-inclusive rate includes luxury suite accommodation, a la carte gourmet meals, premium branded beverages and 24-hour in-suite service.
