250 air-conditioned recently-refurbished rooms, all with one king size or two double beds, ceiling fan, sitting area, ensuite bathroom (with shower only), satellite TV, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and a private balcony or terrace with views of the gardens or ocean. A la carte dinner service is available at Calabash, which serves Caribbean creole cuisine, and Silk's which offers an Asian fusion menu. The hotel's extensive facilities and activities include 3 recently refreshed swimming pools (one for adults only), a fitness centre, oceanfront spa and beauty salon, 6 tennis courts and the island's largest waterpark featuring slides, waterfalls and a lazy river. Coconut Bay is located on Saint Lucia's Atlantic coast and the sea can sometimes be rough. Seaweed is occasionally washed onto the beach but this is raked regularly.
