Set on a white sand beach with a National Marine Park just offshore, in the south of the island.

Accommodation

93 rooms, cottages, bungalows and villas, all elegantly furnished in a plantation style and equipped with air-conditioning, four poster bed, flat screen TV, iPod docking station, DVD player, mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary WiFi and a private plunge pool. Luxury Sugar Mill Rooms are located close to the main facilities and feature a private walled garden, whilst Superior Luxury Sugar Mill Rooms offer a private roof terrace, most with views of the ocean and Pitons. The Cottages and more spacious Villas are tucked away on the hillside to offer a sense of privacy whilst taking full advantage of the stunning views. Luxury Beachfront Bungalows are just steps from the ocean and have a private courtyard with outdoor Jacuzzi. The spectacular One to Four Bedroom Sugar Beach Residences come with full kitchens, large living rooms and private pools and are ideal for larger families. All accommodation comes with butler service and an efficient shuttle service runs between the villas and the main hotel facilities.

Restaurants And Bars

Breakfast is served overlooking the lily pond at the Terrace restaurant, whilst Bayside on the beach is the place for a relaxed lunch or dinner. The sophisticated Great Room offers a fine dining option in the evenings and the open air Palm Court Lounge serves traditional afternoon tea and evening cocktails. There is also the super stylish Cane Bar, serving an Asian-inspired evening menu and specialty rums.

Facilities

There are 2 white sand beaches, a large swimming pool, 2 tennis courts, fitness centre, snooker room, PADI dive centre and complimentary non-motorised watersports including sailing, windsurfing and kayaking. The fabulous Rainforest Spa is housed in treehouse style gazebos hidden amongst the tropical foliage and offers a full range of treatments as well as a traditional Amerindian Temascal. The Sugar Club provides an excellent programme of supervised activities for children aged 4-8 yrs as well as a pool table and board games to keep older children entertained. There is also a complimentary junior sailing programme available where children aged 10 yrs and over can learn the basics of sailing and boat handling.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, in an amazing location, but what made it so really special was the quality of the staff who worked there. Everyone was happy, friendly and seemed to be genuinely pleased that we had chosen to visit their island... There were a few tears from the family when we left as it felt like we were leaving new friends behind.
