Airport Transfer

Private transfers are 25 minutes from Tenerife North Airport and 1 hour from Tenerife South Airport. 

Location

In the town of Puerto de la Cruz ont he north coast of Tenerife, a 10 minute walk from the beach. 

Accommodation

252 well-appointed rooms and suites, all with private balcony, flat screen LCD TV, WiFi, mini bar, in-room safe and air-conditioning. It’s worth upgrading to the Penthouse Rooms on the higher floors for the superlative ocean views, while some of the Penthouse Suites also have a private whirlpool on their outdoor terrace. There are two bedroom suites and interconnecting options available for families, and the opulent Bill Clinton Suite offers two or three bedrooms, along with a spacious lounge, indoor whirlpool, kitchen, dining room and wraparound terrace, ample space for a president and his guests!

Restaurants And Bars

The laid-back, Andalucian-style La Parrilla serves up Spanish and regional specialities, while The Oriental is a more formal option, offering an excellent Asian fine dining menu. Il Pappagallo has a
lovely open air terrace and a focus on Italian and Mediterranean flavours, and there is also a pool restaurant and two bars to quench your thirst.

Facilities

The award-winning Oriental Spa Garden includes 20 treatment cabins, a gym, solarium, indoor and outdoor thermal circuits, a hair salon and a Thai massage pagoda set amongst the beautiful gardens. Other facilities include a freeform swimming pool, 2 floodlit tennis courts, putting green and driving range, billiards, table tennis and classes including yoga, aerobics and T’ai chi. There is also a kids’ programme for children aged 4-15 yrs, and activities available nearby include horse riding, hiking and scuba diving.

The Oriental Spa Garden is the centrepiece of the hotel, a serene sanctuary surrounded by beautiful gardens and waterways criss-crossed by little bridges.

Although we would usually recommend the Hotel Botanico to couples rather than families, there is still plenty for children to do, including the excellent Botanico Kinder Aventura kids’ programme, run in conjunction with the nearby Loro Parque wildlife park and Siam Parque waterpark.

Tenerife’s most obvious draw is the climate, which makes the island a great year-round destination, but it’s also scenically spectacular, the rugged landscape dominated by the imposing Mount Teide.
