Airport Transfer

A 75 minute scheduled seaplane transfer runs twice daily to and from the resort: From Malé at 11am and 4pm and from JA Manafaru at 6.30am and 2pm.

Accommodation

84 Beach Bungalows, Water Villas and One and Two Bedroom Suites are furnished in natural tones with accents of turquoise and each feature a private pool. Beach Bungalows are a very generous 150 sq metres with a light and airy bedroom space, combined with a comfortable indoor seating area. Step out onto a furnished deck leading straight onto the beach and find your own shaded cabana. Bathrooms are partially open with double vanities, shower and bath, and open to a private courtyard with outdoor shower, plunge pool and sun loungers. Water Villas can be sunrise or sunset view and include an indoor bathroom and outdoor sundeck with infinity plunge pool looking out over the ocean. One Bedroom Beach Suites offer further space and include a separate living room, rain shower, Jacuzzi bath and private plunge pool, while for larger families the Two Bedroom Grand Water Suite and Royal Island Suites can accommodate up to 5 or 6 persons respectively.

Restaurants And Bars

7 restaurants and bars include Kakuni, the main buffet restaurant, offering a broad range of local and international cuisine and Ocean Grill, the romantic beach restaurant, specialising in fresh meat and seafood. White Orchid is JA’s signature Asian fusion restaurant, where you can sample delicious flavours from Thailand, China and Japan or Andiamo Bistro is a laid-back venue with a menu of pizza, pasta and salads. It is also well worth upgrading to half board or all-inclusive, as 6 venues are included.

A host of facilities and activities for children include CoolZone Kids’ Club (4-12 yrs) and ChillZone Teens’ Club (8-16 yrs).
