The 214 rooms have a uniquely Mauritian feel, with furniture made by local craftsmen from natural materials, and sunny splashes of tropical colour that play off the white walled interiors. Superior Rooms can take up to two adults and one child, with the option to upgrade to guarantee a sea view. Couples-only rooms all offer a partial or full sea view, and some open right onto the beach. Family Rooms accommodate two adults and up to two children on a sofa bed, but if you’d prefer some additional space, Deluxe Family Rooms feature a second bedroom with twin beds and a separate bathroom.

The resort’s seven restaurants showcase a range of flavours that reflect the cultural diversity of the island. Karay overlooks the lagoon and serves buffet breakfast and themed buffet dinners, while Indian specialities are on offer at Tadka, and Siaw is where you’ll enjoy a fusion of Chinese and Mauritian cuisine. Lor Disab is another highlight, a low-key beach shack offering light lunches during the day and a starlit, adult-only venue, serving Mauritian-inspired dishes, in the evening. Grand Zil is a private island where you can enjoy a barbecue lunch on the beach, Taba-J offers a casual street food option and Kot Nou, the resort’s signature restaurant, serving authentic Mauritian home cooking, completes the culinary line-up.
