7 restaurants and bars serve Creole, Italian, Asian and international cuisine and a special mention must go to the grilled Japanese delights at Teppanyaki, prepared as you watch from a live show kitchen. We can also highly recommend Portobello, for its homemade pasta and beautiful setting by the lake with views of Mount Dauban. Sakura is the innovative Asian restaurant, where sushi and sashimi are joined by flavoursome curries, meat and fish and Lo Brizan Bar is a laid-back lunch option, with a menu of light snacks, wine and cocktails, accompanied by live entertainment. You are also welcome to enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner in the privacy of your villa.
The resort has a large pool with Jacuzzi and extensive watersports including snorkelling, PADI diving, kayaking, sailing and fishing. In addition, tennis, table tennis, a fitness centre and the award-winning Silhouette Spa are available for your sport and relaxation needs. Silhouette Island is home to giant tortoises and the best place to spot them is on the Grann Barde side of the island. It’s also well worth heading out on one of the many jungle paths to see what other flora and fauna you can discover. Jungle Fun Kids’ Club (4-12 yrs) offers indoor and outdoor play areas and activities include coconut painting, crafts and treasure hunts.
A National Park, Silhouette Island is a sanctuary for wildlife, and the jungle trails criss-crossing the island will lead you to pristine white sand beaches, and the chance for a cooling swim in the clear waters of the Indian Ocean
Grann Kaz is the resort’s signature dining experience and is housed in the restored plantation home of the Dauban family, former owners of the island. Just a few minutes walk from Labriz, experience modern Creole cuisine at this unique and atmospheric heritage site
