Bequia Plantation is about as boutique as it gets, with just 22 rooms and cottages clustered around an idyllic beach on the shores of Admiralty Bay. The recently refurbished rooms are perfectly in keeping with your seaside surroundings, and it's just a short walk along a scenic boardwalk to the charming little town of Port Elizabeth.
There are 22 rooms, villas and suites, all of which have either been newly built or completely refurbished, and are beautifully decorated in a bright, charming Caribbean style to reflect your tropical surroundings. Each is equipped with air-conditioning, cable TV, tea/coffee making facilities and an in-room safe. The brand new Beachfront Villas and Beachside Rooms offer direct access to the sand whilst the eight new Two Bedroom Villas are a perfect choice for families or groups of friends.
The main restaurant is right on the beach, shaded by palm trees. It serves a range of Caribbean and international cuisine using local ingredients and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and à la carte dinners. There is also Stelton’s Bakery which offers a range of delicious baked goods from fresh bread to coconut and lemon pies. Further dining is available at the beach bar where you’ll find a selection of rum punches and cocktails to enjoy whilst watching your pizza being freshly prepared in the wood-fired oven. Evening entertainment is provided at the weekends.
The small but picturesque beach is perfect for those lazy days, and the beautiful Princess Margaret Beach is only a 5 minute walk away. For those who want to stay connected, complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property. The watersports centre offers complimentary equipment hire including kayaks, surf boards, paddle boards and snorkelling; sunfish sailing is available at an additional charge. Chartering a classic schooner or arranging a powerboat trip can be a great way to explore the neighbouring islands of Mustique, the Tobago Cays, Mayreau and Canouan. PADI dive courses, snorkelling trips and deep sea fishing can also be arranged locally.
